Designed to encourage the growth of local Rivals communities, the Haven Program is intended to provide retailers with additional incentives to grow a Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals community at your stores. Our experience with fans at GenCon was that there were plenty that own the game and are buying expansions, but haven’t found a local community to play with regularly. We already encourage patronage of local shops by making Rivals pre-order promos available to stores, but we want to do more to foster these communities that are so pivotal to a game like Rivals!

Starting this October, the Month of Darkness, we’re going to be tracking Rivals events held at FLGSs, and we’ll be rewarding stores that show THEIR support in hosting events with the chance to win either one of ten free Clan Clash organized play kits ($40 value, Q4 availability), one of two $500 (MSRP) Renegade spending sprees, or the grand prize, your store becoming an actual playable Haven in-game! The “Game Shop” Haven promo card will be available (similar to the Annabelle promo) at no cost for brick & mortar stores in 2023.

To participate, simply report your qualifying events, held from Sept 24-Dec 31, 2022, via this form , which will collect some basic information including at least two photos. After 3 qualifying event submissions, you’ll be entered to win in our drawing, which we’ll hold in January 2023.

In addition to the Haven program for retailers, we’re also targeting the player community at the same time, incentivizing players with the Coterie Program. This program will encourage players to get involved hosting events at their FLGS, and they’ll be able to qualify for another drawing, this one for the chance to be immortalized in the game as their very own Vampire card playable in-game and released in a future expansion! Stores can partner with these players to hold events and grow their community, helping both to qualify for these great prizes!
